Snoopy is the name of Charlie Brown’s pet dog. He first started out as a regular dog but later developed to become one of the strip’s most energetic characters. He cannot talk because he is a dog, but his thoughts are made known to the readers and the characters have the ability to somehow understand his thoughts. The character is best known for sleeping on top of his dog house instead of inside, his great imagination and alter egos. However, in the real world apart from his imagination, Snoopy is the best player in Peppermint Patty's baseball team.
